THE MEMORIAL COLISEUM DEMOLISH OR NOT

AFTER ALL THATS BEEN SAID AND DONE,MEMORIAL COLISEUM SHOULD NOT GET DEMOLISHED. THE COMMUNITY AND THE CITY COUNSEL WILL HOPEFULLY MAKE A GOOD DECISION TO KEEP THIS GREAT LANDMARK. IT WILL BRING MORE TOURIST AND MONEY TO OUR CITY. IT WILL NEED ALOT OF WORK,BUT I KNOW ONCE ITS BEEN REFURBISHED AND REMODELED, IT WILL HAVE GREAT POTENTIAL. IT ALSO HAS A LONG HISTORY AND LOTS OF MEMORIES.

ONE OF THE GREAT MEMORIES I HAVE IS GOING TO A TED NUGENT CONCERT,MY FIRST CONCERT BY THE WAY.I WAS SO EXCITED TO BE THERE.I WAS AFRAID TO GO TO THE BATHROOM, THOUGHT I WOULD GET LOST. IT WAS SO LOUD THAT I COULD NOT HEAR MYSELF TALK.IVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A BIG PLACE THAT COULD HOLD THAT MANY PEOPLE. NOW,THATS A MEMORY NOBODY CAN TAKE AWAY AND I KNOW THERE'S SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE AS FOND MEMORIES LIKE I DO.
THE MEMORIAL COLISEUM HAS BEEN IN OUR CITY SINCE 1937 AND HAS BEEN LEFT THERE WITHOUT GETTING ANY ATTENTION. THIS IS WHY IT IS CONSIDERED AN EYESORE.THE POTENTIAL OF THIS BUILDING COULD BRING LOTS OF MONEY TO OUR CITY,MAYBE BRING THE FERRIS WHEEL.ITS SEEMS LIKE SOME OF OUR CITIZENS DON'T WANT OUR CITY TO GROW.LIKE SAN ANTONIO,WE WILL HAVE TOURIST COMING FROM ALL OVER THE STATE.

Text 1 Missing persons, should police do more?

As of January 2007,there has been about 10 people reported missing in the Corpus Christi area. The police does not consider an adult high risk like children. Most of the time police say that when an adult is missing they don't want to be found.The only thing police can do is provide pictures and descriptions on their website.If a person is found and does not want their families to know, then the police can only tell them that the missing person is alive,but can't give the location.
On January 2,2007, we reported my sister missing.She worked as an activity director full time and as a bartender at night.The last person to see her alive was her ex husband.She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and loved country dancing.She had a great personality and was loved by many people.Her car was found 3 days later on the side of a road alongside the highway. There was no fingerprints or blood and her keys were gone.All her personal items like her purse,cellphone and money were in her car.The police searched on a one mile radius on helicopter near her car but nothing was found. Her ex-husband was polygraphed,they could not rule him out as a suspect.Now seven years later we haven't heard from or seen my sister.The police feel that she doesn't want to be found .
